It's been talked about since the league opened, but the MLL just announced that for 09 they will add a 4th pole to the mix. The move is to appeal to traditional field purists. MLL attendance for this year's final drew under 9,000 fans while NCAA D1 had close to 49,000 fans at its final (not to mention D2, D3 and the whole Final Four experience)... interesting to see if the NLL Outdoor sticks to 3.
