MLL Expansion, NLL Next?

Major League Lacrosse (MLL) has approved expansion to Charlotte, N.C. and Columbus, Ohio, for its the 2012 season, bumping the league back up to 10 franchises. The league will hope to add an additional two teams the following year, and expand to 16 teams by the end of the decade. (Inside Lacrosse)

National Lacrosse League (NLL) commissioner George Daniel has not shared an expansion plan for his 10 team league, but the 'For Sale' NLL Calgary Roughnecks are receiving interest from US buyers, with rumors coming from Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, New York and Detroit. (IL Indoor)
