The Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) held its 2009 WLA Entry Draft tonight. A ton of National Lacrosse League (NLL) talent and quality players were picked up. Here are your first round selections:1. Alex Gajic - Langley (BBY Jr. A / NCAA Denver)
2. Curtis Manning - New West (NW Jr. A / NLL Calgary / MCLA SFU)
3. Jarrett Davis - Maple Ridge (COQ Jr. A / NCAA Bellarmine)
4. Kyle Belton - Langley (NW Jr. A / NCAA Stony Brook)
5. Alex Turner - Langley (NW Jr. A / NLL San Jose)
6. Cory Conway - Coquitlam (VIC Jr. A / NLL Portland)
7. Cayle Ratcliff - Nanaimo (VIC Jr. A / NLL Calgary)
