WLA: Lacrosse Links

Here's some quick info on the CLA which still seems to be an unknown to many outside of Canada. Hopefully these links helps ya... Many of the top professional National Lacrosse League (NLL) players come from out West and play in the Western Lacrosse Association (WLA). Before getting to either of those top leagues, however, players are developed in the Junior system.

Jr. is aged 19 to 21. They compete for a Minto Cup. At 22 year's of age you're pushed to the Senior ranks where you compete for the coveted Mann Cup. For a look back at the 2008 WLA Draft, click here.
