Canada to Select U-19 squad for 2008 Worlds

Over 60 players will be competing for one of 23-player roster spots on the Canadian U-19 Men's National team this weekend.

The camp will be held in New West Oct.5-7 and includes two exhibition games against SFU Lacrosse (Saturday at 1 and Sunday at 10am, Mercer Stadium).

The U.S. - who are 29-0 all-time in U-19 international competition - selected their team back in July. And remain the team to beat. Canada, led by head coach Gary Gait, will likely be the States toughest competition in 08.

The U-19 Worlds are in Coquitlam, BC, July 3-12, 2008
