Boxla is being show-cased at it's finest in B.C., Canada, this September 2007, with the Minto to be aired on Rogers Sportsnet.
The Six Nation Arrows will face-off against the Burnaby Lakers this Saturday, Sept. 1, in New West, for the Minto. That game will showcase feature stars like Craig Point, Shawn Evans, Cody Jamieson (Six Nations), Garrett Billings and Alex Gajic (Burnaby). It should be a dandy... with several players from the Championships also getting picked up in the NLL's Entry Draft the same day as the final. Ticket's for the Minto Cup are $20. The game will also be aired on Rogers Sportsnet.
Six Nations beat New West, 6-5, on a last second goal from Mitch Nanticoke to advance to the Minto Final, after out-shooting the Bellies 66-30. Burnaby earned a bye for finishing first in the round-robin tournament.
In Sr. A CLA action, the WLA Coquitlam Adanacs will host the OLA Peterborough Lakers in B.C., Sept. 7-15, for the Mann Cup. Of course, that series will feature a ton of NLL stars like Colin Doyle, Peter Veltmen (Coq), Scott Evans and Johnny Grant Jr (Peterborough)... Grant was this year's NLL and MLL most valuable player.
