US Jr. Team Opens Camp

The States have selected 120 players from around the country to participate in a select tryout for the United States team which will compete in the 2008 ILF World Jr. Championships (BC, Canada, July 3-12 2008).

The tryouts for the 2008 team began today, July 12, 2007 and run until Sunday - at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. A roster of 23 players will be selected. The competition is going to be intense. And extremely good!

The States last captured their 5th ILF World Lacrosse Jr. Championship in 2003, remaining a perfect 29-0 all-time in U-19 International play.

The 120 players selected to this camp came from a pool of 235 players nominated by collegiate coaches and area chairmen of the US Lacrosse Men's Division Coaches Council HS Committee... we'll announce the final roster once available.
