West: Arizona held on to beat San Jose, 9-7, to capture the West Division Championship... Zona jumped out to a 7-1 first half lead and were able to defeat the SJ Stealth 9-7, Saturday. Dan Dawson lead Arizona with five points, while tender Blasdell recorded 44 saves to Cosmo's 28. Goaltending was the difference in this one, as the Sting advance to their second Championship appearance in three years.
East: Rochester defeated Buffalo, 14-13, with a come-from-behind OT victory, and snipe from stud Johnny Grant Jr... The Knighthawks trailed 12-9 in the fourth, but scored four straight goals to take a 13-12 lead. D. Powless tied the game for Buffalo with 1:43 remaining to force overtime, but it was Jr. who was the hero on the night. Grant scored the game winner just 26 seconds into OT...
