NLL divisional semis recap.
Buffalo 14 vs Minny 8... The Bandits overcame an early 4-0 deficit to win in convincing fashion over the Swarm sunday, 14-8... In the second half, Buffalo held Minny scoreless, while putting up 7 tallies. J. Tavares led Buffalo with a game-high 5 points... Steenhuis had just 1A, after putting up 14 points in his previous 4 playoff games...
Rochester 10 vs. Toronto 6... Rochester, with it's league best 14-2 regular season record had more trouble with a 6-10 Rock team than they probably should have, winning just 10-6 thanks to two empty net goals.. NLL scoring champ Grant Jr. and the rest of the Hawks high-powered O will need to show better in the EAST Finals Friday... That game should be a dandy!
San Jose 15 at Colorado 14 (OT)... SJ pulled off the up-set W, 15-14, with a come from behind OT victory... The Stealth knocked down the defending NLL champs, thanks in large part to young stud Jeff Zywicki who scored a game-high 7 tallies, including the game-winner in OT! the kid's just clutch...
Arizona 13 at Calgary 9... The Sting also won going away, 13-9... Led by a balanced attack of Conn, Dawson, Self and the Malawsky bros, the Sting took an 8-6 lead into the break and outscored the Necks 5-3 in the second half... Zona will be looking to make a second championship game appearance since '05, but SJ's up-tempo style is gonna make for a legit game...
